Happy New Year!

January Update

South Point Adventure

Over Christmas, we traveled to South Point, which is the southernmost area in the U.S. The highlight was hiking to the remote and very beautiful Green Sand beach. The beach itself is small, but that was okay since we spent most of our time there in the water body surfing.

The "green sand" is actually olivine, and when you look closely, it sparkles like thousands
of tiny gemstones. Beautiful!

On our way back from the Green Sand beach, we noticed these windmills glistening on the horizon.

While at a local beach, we found this..... ?

It's hard to beat playing ping pong in Hawaii at sunset :)

Some of our recent bounty

                                       breadfruit                                                            jack fruit, avocados,
                                                                                                                 lemons, tree tomatoes
